All year long the DCBC tutor groups have been earning points for their attendance, their positive achievement points and for gaining the fewest negative behaviour points. There has been a really close competition since September in both Key Stage 3 and 4. Mrs Blanckley was delighted to award the prize to 8PB and Mr Donaghy awarded the prize (on a nail biting penalty shoot out) to 10SH. Both tutor groups were given an afternoon off timetable to take part in a session of Bubble Football. What fun was had by all and the staff themselves couldn’t resist trying the bubbles on for size. Games included a 6 a side match (Donaghy scoring the winner – a 38.5 yard screamer!) a game of piggy in the middle, cross the swamp, roly poly relay and then a last man/woman standing challenge. Well done to both tutor groups for working so hard all year.
